INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME

As a globally recognised organisation, we provide interns with the chance to work alongside experts shaping the future of arbitration, mediation, and adjudication. This internship is ideal for students with a passion for international policy, legal frameworks, and professional standards. They contribute to real-world projects that impact practitioners and policymakers worldwide, while gaining insights into the development of ethical practices and access to justice. With a focus on nurturing talent from diverse backgrounds, this program equips our future leaders with the skills, knowledge, and global perspective to excel in the field of alternative dispute resolution.

  • I began my internship at Ciarb while completing my LLM dissertation, transitioning to full-time upon graduation which was a pivotal moment in my career as a foreign-qualified lawyer. Ciarb provided an invaluable platform to showcase my skills, expand my professional network in the UK, and prepare for the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) on my journey to becoming a solicitor. I thoroughly enjoyed collaborating with the supportive PPP team, who ensured I gained meaningful experience, including assisting the Ciarb delegation in preparing for UNCITRAL WG II and WG III meetings in Vienna and observing the sessions via livestream. This experience significantly broadened my understanding of how legislation and soft law are developed, including the incorporation of unconventional provisions into final texts.
